Today i started a google document, i wrote two paragraph explaining the differences between the school in Mexico and U.S. and why i don't like some of that changes and why i like others.

So far I  have stated the facts on reasons why we should listen to Music during school hours. So, iv'e decided to make reasons why people would think that students shouldn't listening to music during school and make a counter argument to those reasons and then make my final conclusion statement. That's what iv'e done and what i'm about to do for now.

Project update -Jessica and Alexis

Alexis and I interviewed 2 students today about listening to music in class while doing work. The first person was a 9th grade student. She said that she does find listening to music helpful during individual work time. She notices that if she is not listening to music while working she is more likely to talk to others in the class. The other student is in 11th grade and doesn't usually listing to music.

My Interviews By: Alexis St.Clair
Well I went to my resource hour today and interviewed 3 students and 1 teacher. Here is their opinion on letting us students listen to music while doing homework or quizzes or tests.


Brittany Davila - I think students should be aloud to listen to music while doing homework but not during quizzes and test.

Mrs.Brazier-  If the music is soft, on a low volume, without sharing with other students, and without changing songs constantly, then a resource student may listen to music during work time.  Listening to music during quizzes, tests, and exams is not allowed.

Songyul Musayeva- I think music should be aloud to listen to in class while doing homework because it helps most students finish homework fast.

Elizabeth Maynard - I think music should be aloud in class for test and homework to block out people.

New update

I listened my history class and take some notes. It helps me a lot because I write down something  that is I can not understand and I can translate it at home.

Yet another update?

I've been making along just fine for the week, i have been tho trying to  load some humor, with not much working for that. Hopefully i'll be done soon and y'all can lay eyes upon it. Muahhhhhhha!

Ops, sorry, kinda fell asleep typing again. Yup, i'm getting closer to a finish in sight, Should be up and finished soon.

So far on whether students should be able to listen to music during school, i've asked 6 people and they gave positive feedback and i have to slides done on my power point as well so over all its going very well.

Helping Students
Students who still have to learn English, because they are from a different country don't understand every single word. That's why it's really hard to follow what the teacher's talking about. Therefore it's import that the teacher always makes clear what he's talking about. Also it's good to show pictures and give simple examples.
